Antonín Kroča drew motifs, typical for his later work, from the environment of pubs, rural interiors and situations. In addition to the paintings, there were also numerous figurative drawings and a number of nudes in dynamic poses captured with charcoal. Already at the end of the 1970s, Kroča's handwriting loosens up towards gestural painting and more expressive colors. In his later works, abstract stimuli or an increasingly free handling of natural motifs lead him to abstract expressive painting, where color and energetic strokes of the brush or painter's spatula take over the dominant role.
