Apotheosis of Rudolph II (Kulhanek)

Oldřich Kulhánek studied at SOŠV in Prague and with prof. K. Svolinský at VŠUP in Prague. He was arrested in 1971 and imprisoned for defaming representatives of friendly socialist states. In the 1980s, he created lithographs that were inspired by the human face and human hands, the work of George Orwell, as well as The Clown of the Fools, The Great Sacrifice, The Successful Pig, etc. In the early 1990s, the difference between free and used graphics in his work was blurred. He designed Czech banknotes and also the cycle Crazy money, where he applies his sense of humor.
